Biking in Brittany
August 13th
Today we drove down to Evran and parked to continue our ride south toward Rennes. The ride to the north yesterday was mostly in the forest and with the task of trying to find my cyclometer I neglected to take any photos. However, the scenery going south is just too gorgeous not to stop and record what we are riding past. We rode for 12 miles and turned around to complete our 24+ miles route. The pictures speak for themselves...
Dinner tonight was at L'Atelier Gourmand Terraces just across the river from our apartment. I searched for the best restaurants in Dinan and this one came up at the top of the list. We both ordered the petit salade du chevre and scallops. My starter scallops were in a wonderful sauce in a small terrine and Jay ordered the dinner scallops...both extremely delicious! Of course we had our now favorite Cote de Provence Rose to accompany our meals.
